To acquire the right skills needed for someone looking to enter programing. I was trying to learn on my own at first but needed directions on what languages I needed to learn and what I needed to do after learning how to advertise myself to get a job. The education curriculum is set up to where you can learn at your own pace (even if your day to day is very unpredictable) you will be given a simple task at your current skill level and direction on how to complete the assignment on your own with access to directly reach out to Fido if your stuck, with weekly checkups to check on your progress. Fido will set time aside to help you one on one with anything you’re stuck on. (Even if you fix the problem on your own 5 minutes before your schedule one on one. Trust me, I’ve done this a lot.) Fido is always looking for you to succeed and the rest of his students to succeed and grow. He is always keeping his eye on what the current job market in his field is looking for so his material is up today and not full of outdated material and practices that only serve to waste everyone’s time getting hired. He has a good and honest understanding of what information you my hear in the grape vine is accurate information and will not hesitate to tell you what trends others may say is a good idea is not. The personal mentor ship is worth more than what a degree or bootcamp can deliver with the benefits of your self being a self-taught programmer.
